I had booked one trip to Ooty through KBR travels couple of months back. The Cab Driver was good and cab was also good. The Hotel charge Kbr took was 2400/- per day. When we landed in Ooty at 11.30 in the night, seeing the kind of Hotel the Kbr Owner Lady had provided, I was so disappointed, it took us sometime to realize that we somehow have to manage one night there, we spent that night till next day very early morning. The room was of very poor quality worth of hardly 500 Rs(As it was offseason). Next day while checking out just to crosscheck and to have an idea of the room price, I checked the Hotel owner's receipt book, You would very surprised to hear, it was hardly 600Rs for better rooms than we were the previous night. I had so accurately guessed. This is not the end of story. I called the owner next early morning, asking to cancel our booking for the next day, I told I would pay for that day, but since I am so disappointed, if she could return the next day’s money. The lady told no, she gave phone to her husband(actual owner), who does not have manners how to talk with ladies, became very furious that we want to leave and asking for our money which they had taken. After an hour of arguments, with very hesitance he told another agent would come and shift us to a better place. He did not agree to return anything for firstday neither second day. 2400 was a good amount to just leave and book something ourselves. So reluctantly we agreed to see some more hotels, with her Ooty Agent, who again showed us crap hotels of hardly worth 1000/1100 Rs. I again asked, could you return the money, so that I would book on my wish, but finally we had to manage in that somewhat better Hotel for one more day. I will never book from this travel again.
