Caretronics India Services is a complete fraud/cheating TV repair shop. Please do not refer to their website (http://www.caretronicsindia.com/) and do not make the mistake of thinking that this is good shop for TV repair. This shop only has one Mr. Sameer and another junior partner who are cheating people from one small shop in Asalpha Ghatkopar. Mr. Sameer is an expert in cheating people with huge sum of amounts. I will explain my story. I made the mistake of checking his website and falsely believing that this is a good TV repair shop. He took my TV to the shop, repaired it and charged my Rs. 6000/- + Rs. 400 for transport. He assured me a service warranty of 6 months. The TV worked well for around 25 days and then again stopped working. I again sent the TV to his shop. He did not stand by his promise on the 6-months warranty. He said 2 more components are not working and he again charged me Rs. 3000/- (he gave the example of a car and said that if he repairs car engine and then Disc brake fails, he has to charge again.). Basically, the promise of 6-months warranty is a complete fraud. This time the TV worked well only for 1 day. I again called him. This time he came home and said your TV motherboard chips have to be re-balled/re-soldered at a TV electronics lab in Thane. Instead of doing this piece of work himself, he asked me to take the TV by myself to the TV lab and asked me to again pay seperately for the re-balling/re-soldering. This again costed me Rs.1500/- and the TV still didnot work. I am now trying to call Mr. Sameer desperately for help on the TV. Since Mr. Sameer has already cheated me of Rs.9000/-, he is not answering my telephone calls. I dont know what to do and how to take strict legal action against this TV shop. My TV is a piece of junk now. Please do not ever think of getting your TV repaired at this TV repair shop otherwise you will end up with a serious case of cheating as it happened with me.
