High Alert to arrest Mr Altaf Jahangir from Hubli/Dharwad/Bangalore/Goa/Pune. State police of 5 states alerted to arrest Altaf Jahangir. Fraud Couple from Dharwad /Hubli cheated public more than 30 crores. The information has been released by Bengaluru police that Mr. Altaf Jahangir and his wife Mehurunissa Jahangir had cheated several people in Bangalore. The first arrest took place in 2005 in Hubli .The Hubli police have arrested a man , T Jahangir and his son Altaf Jahangir for allegedly cheating a nationalised bank of Rs. 40.6 lakhs by producing forged cheques in the name of a government agency.Both residents of Gopalpur Malamaddi in Dharwad. The police said that Altaf had opened an account in the name of Corporate Promotion Incorporated at the Adarshnagar branch of State Bank of Mysore in Hubli three years ago stating that he is a contractor for a government agency called Karantaka State Land Development Corporation, which did not exist.His two cheques of Rs. 15.60 lakhs and Rs. 25 lakhs were returned to State Bank of Mysore with remarks "inadequate funds". When Altaf came to the bank with two more cheques for Rs. 8.2 lakhs, the manager withheld the payment and inquired with his counterpart in Indian Overseas Bank. Here in 2014, he again made a plan in the name of IP cluster and started cheating people In Bangalore. He lost his luck this time with Amma constructions and he defrauded them of 93 lakhs in favor of land allotted to them. While he claims He is CEO of QED INDIA,He is also CEO of Jayson infrastructure Ltd Bangalore with fake profile uploaded in website- http://www.indiamart.com/jaysons-infrastructure-india/aboutus.html Fake IAS officer- Police have arrested him several times and under the influence of congress leaders he escapes but now court order of NBW is against him. This matter is now with media personnel and they are doing the necessary to track him down as several cases in court. When police arrested him he says that IAS means “Indian Audit service”, but he used red beacon light in his car. For last 3 years in Bangalore he moved liked VIP until he was caught finally and put in parappana prison. Several entrepreneurs were cheated and one notably was MD from Clean and green India, Dr.Maheswari. Maheswari had paid rupees 5.5 crores. Some NRIs and local residents were also cheated in RMV 2nd stage, Sanjaynagar, Bengaluru. Modus operandi. – His new modus operandi was to befriend some local people who are rich enough or who are looking for potential business. He then comes with a plan for sale of land in Chikkaballarpur and show some fake land with fake papers in the name of his driver Chitty Babu. Generally people believe and make agreements. It was Amma constructions who blew the lid and finally the scam was out. Police has collected all documents of Altaf Jahangir and his wife. Several documents were collected from registrar office in Hubli and Dharwad and they found that, all money from public was diverted to his wife’s account -Mrs.Mehrunnisa Altaf Jahangir, (alias Mehrunnisa A Jahangir alias Mehrunnisa Allahbaksh Makandar, alias Mehrunnisa A Makandar) . Police has now divulged to media personnel about all activities and they are tracking him, since he has promised police that he will pay all money to the victims. In any case all the property and benami property will be seized to recover money. Police informed that non -bailable warrant is issued and he is on the run. Police alerted all banks in india to have a thourough background checks before issuing an account to him or his wife.His passport is confiscated by police,but he has second fake passport. Bengaluru Police issued alert for this gentlemen named Altaf Jahangir ofhttp://www.qedindia.org. He is underground and not attending court since nonbailable warrant is issued by Police commissioner Bengaluru. Police have issued alert notice against this gentleman Altaf Jahangir to CID also. He will be arrested soon and brought to court for hearing in several cases comprising of multicrore cheating from various parts of Karnataka -Goa-Maharastra etc He was first arrested in 2005 and then 2014 and now police has found that he is continuing fraud by starting new fake websites where he claims as CEO or IAS officer etc. This notification is issued from Bengaluru Police to stay away from person involved in fraudulent activities.
